St. Teresa Food Pantry

Lorraine Burns continues her very important works of mercy for those in need at St. Teresa’s Ministry Center; she is to be congratulated for all the great work she has done and continues to do for the poor of our Community.

The Mission: St. Teresa’s Ministry Center is a Faith Based Community serving our local area. We offer our clients choice foods, good nutrition, clothing and well being.

The Vision: To continue servicing this multi-cultural population in Olneyville, and the surrounding area of Providence. Food is the basic need for all; however, clothing comes in second place. With space now available we have also opened a thrift store.

The History: The Food Pantry opened in 1997 and is going into its 13th year servicing a Community that is “food insecure.”

Monthly Average: The Food Pantry feeds up to 7,000 people per month. (Adults, Children & The Elderly)

Hours of Operation:

Monday – Wednesday:
10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
(Fresh produce every Monday)
Wednesday:
6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

If you have any questions about the Food Pantry and Ministry Center or wish to donate or help in any way, please call Blessed Sacrament Rectory at 751-7575. God Bless You Lorraine!
